This position is with the Arizona Department of Corrections – Safford.Full Time Shifts, Part Time, PRN, and 8-13 week temporary contracts are available! Pay rates range from $17.00-$25.00 per hour based on employment status, shift, specific facility, site needs, licensure, and experience. - High School Diploma or GED Certificate
- Current Certification as Certified Nursing Assistant in state of employment
- Valid CPR Card
- Minimum of 1-year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably correctional healthcare
Performance Expectations:
- Assist with direct patient care procedures
- Obtain patient history
- Take Vital Signs
- Prepare Charts
- Assist with medical examinations
- Perform routine procedures under stablished protocols (to include but not limited to phlebotomy, EKG’s, dressing changes and wound cultures)
