SUMMARYThe Director of Nursing for Long Term Care is responsible for all aspects of nursing care within the Nursing & Rehabilitation facility. Partnering with the Chief Nursing Officer, Administrator, Medical Director, physician staff and nursing leaders, they develop and sustain an environment that supports excellence in clinical practice and quality resident care.Unity Living Center, a 120-bed state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility, is located on two recently renovated floors on the Rochester Regional St. Mary’s campus.Unity Living Center focuses on providing treatment and rehabilitative care for patients with medically complex needs, dementia, and behavioral challenges. Special services include short-term rehabilitation, pain control, IV therapy, peritoneal dialysis, access to hemodialysis, ventilator beds and relaxation therapy to meet the needs of those with chronic diseases.STATUS: Full TimeLOCATION: Unity Living CenterDEPARTMENT: Long Term CareATTRIBUTES

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of nursing leadership experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing; preferably in long term care, rehabilitation or complex care.
• New York State Registered Professional Nurse license.

EDUCATION: BS: Nursing (Required)LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: BLS – Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (AHA), RN – Registered Nurse – New York State Education Department (NYSED)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M – Medium Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.Any physical requirements reported by a prospective employee and/or employee’s physician or delegate will be considered for accommodations.PAY RANGE: $105,000.00 – $125,000.00CITY: RochesterPOSTAL CODE: 14611The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
