The Director of Nursing oversees all patient care, clinical personnel, and sets a higher standard for performance outcomes in our patient-centered environment.The DON will also help hire, evaluate, train and terminate personnel. He/she will report directly to the president of the franchise.· Promote a higher standard of care by ensuring that coordination of care and documentation occurs between staff and patient/family/representative and other outside collaborating agencies· Investigate, resolve and report any problems relating to patient care and employee wellbeing· Plan and implement in-service and training programs; supervise, educate and coach other nursing personnel and care giving staff· Promote home health referrals in the community· Oversee the maintenance of client clinical records, statistics, reports and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of organization activities· Understand the financial and business side of the operation to meet budget· Develop and implement Quality Assurance, Performance Improvement (QAPI) goals related to patient outcomesBENEFITS:· Flexible schedule (30 hours per week)· PTO· Weekly pay with direct deposit· Medical insuranceQUALIFICATIONS:· Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania RN license – prefer BSN degree· Three (3) years of clinical experience with one (1) year experience in a home health agency, primary care clinic of healthcare facility preferred· Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations – experience with The Joint Commission a plus· Reliable care and auto insuranceAbout BrightStar CareNow with over 300 independently owned and operated locations nationwide, BrightStar Care clinical professionals deliver professional and compassionate care in the comfort and familiarity of home.
