• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an intermediate care unit
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and respond to changes in status
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families about their health conditions and care plans
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin or compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in intermediate care, step-down, or telemetry units preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
