- Assist with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Accommodate patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.
- Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Not required to maintain as the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) does not expire for hospital settings.
Education:
- Current enrollment in High School and qualification in the Youth Apprenticeship program per School requirements is required.
Work Experience:
- No experience required; experience in job related field preferred.
