Job description: We are looking for a Full-Time Registered Nurse for a Hospice RN position in the home health setting. This position offers a lot of flexibility, as the nurse schedules directly with their own patients, therefore you get to decide when you start and end your day to a large degree, and you can schedule your patients around your own life appointments and events. The pay and benefits are generous for this Hospice Registered Nurse Position. It is preferred that the RN have Hospice experience, however we will consider Registered Nurses who have at least 1 year of experience with adult or geriatric medical/surgical patients. These hospice visits are done in the home setting. Because the Registered Nurse will manage the cases of their hospice patients in the home setting, the position is titled Hospice Case Manager. This Hospice Case Manager position is with a home health and hospice company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity. • Paid mileage covers the amount spent in gas plus a good amount of additional money. Nurses are generally paid $200 or more extra each week for mileage pay.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE HOSPICE REGISTERED NURSE POSITION: It is preferred that the RN have Hospice experience, however we will consider Registered Nurse who have at least 1 year of recent experience working with adult and geriatric medical / surgical patients in any of the following settings: rehabilitation Center / skilled nursing facility SNF, home health care / visiting nurse setting, rehab hospital, correctional facility, hospital / medical center, Intensive Care Unit ICU, Medical Intensive Care Unit MICU, Surgical Intensive Care Unit SICU, Emergency Room, Emergency Department, Definitive Observation Unit DOU, Critical Care Unit CCU, float / pool nurse. The registered nurse must be a registered nurse (RN). The registered nurse must be licensed in the state. The Registered Nurse must either be a US Citizen or have your green card. A COVID-19 vaccine is required for this position. OR This company requires a COVID-19 vaccine.
